Death spread to all men, because all sinned.

1 Tim. 6:7

We brought nothing into this world and will carry nothing out.

2 Tim. 1:10

Jesus has abolished death. He brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

Ja. 1:10-11

We pass away (i.e., die) as a flower of the field.

Ja. 4:14

Life is like a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

1 Ki. 17:17-24

Death occurs at the time the soul leaves the body.

Ja. 2:26

The body dies when the spirit is no longer in the body (cf. Jesus yielded up His spirit to die; Matt. 27:50).

Heb. 4:12

The spirit and soul are separate but closely related in the mind; hence, upon death of the mind (i.e., brain) the spirit is dead and the soul has departed (cf. Rom. 12:2; Eph. 4:23).
