God: God's Righteousness

Jer. 12:1; Dan. 9:14; Jn. 17:25; Rev. 16:5


God is righteous.


Jn. 1:1; 1 Jn. 2:1


Jesus is God. Jesus is righteous.


Ps. 50:6


The heavens declare God's righteousness (cf. Rom. 1:20).


Ho. 14:9

The ways of the Lord are right, and the righteous walk in them.

Acts 17:31


God has appointed a day to judge the world in righteousness by Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 5:10).


Rom. 1:16-17


The righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel. The just shall life by faith.

The righteousness of God is through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

God set forth Jesus to be a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness. God is just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
