Acts 2:5-47

On Pentecost, men were commanded to repent and be baptized for the remission of their sins (Acts 2:38). Those who gladly received the word were baptized (Acts 2:41). And, the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved (Acts 2:47).

Acts 8:4-13

Philip preached in Samaria; men and women were baptized.

Men and women were baptized. Infants were not baptized. Infants cannot believe (Acts 8:12).

Acts 8:26-40

Philip baptized the Ethiopian eunuch after he confessed his faith in Jesus Christ. They went down into the water denoting that the eunuch was immersed in water.

Acts 9:1-20; 22:16

Paul of Tarsus was baptized to wash away his sins.

A person's sins are not washed away until he is baptized.

Acts 10:34-48

Cornelius (and his household) believed and was baptized.

Acts 16:13-15

Lydia heeded the things spoken by Paul and she (and her household) was baptized.

Acts 16:25-34

The Philippian jailer (and his household) believed and was immediately baptized.

The jailer was immediately baptized denoting that his baptism was not put off. In the First Century, people were baptized immediately upon their faith in Jesus Christ.

Acts 18:8

Crispus and many other Corinthians heard, believed, and were baptized.

Acts 19:1-7

Paul baptized about twelve men who had been John's disciples.

As with these men, a person who has been baptized with a baptism other than Jesus Christ's must be properly baptized to be saved.

Note: No one was saved by praying a prayer of faith. Notice that Paul prayed for three days but he had to arise and be baptized to wash away his sins (Acts 22:16).
